AEW returning to Long Island, will feature Owen Hart tournament first-round matches

AEW is making its return to Long Island this May.

It was announced today that the Wednesday, May 11 edition of Dynamite will be held at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. The Friday, May 13 episode of Rampage will also be taped at the UBS Arena that Wednesday.

The event will feature first-round matches in both the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments. The finals of the tournaments are being held at May’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

AEW has yet to reveal the participants for either Owen Hart Foundation tournament.

Tickets for the Long Island show will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Eastern time this Friday (February 18).

The UBS Arena hosted its first AEW event this past December. The newly opened venue is located in Elmont, New York.

  • Wednesday, March 16: Dynamite Rampage (Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas)
  • Wednesday, March 23: Dynamite/Rampage (H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas)

AEW announces Long Island debut for December

AEW is officially set to make its Long Island debut.

It was announced today that the Wednesday, December 8 episode of Dynamite will take place at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. There will also be tapings for Rampage that night.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Eastern time this Friday. There will also be a pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. Eastern on Thursday.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast first reported the date of the show last month.

The UBS Arena is a new venue that’s opening this fall. It’s located in Elmont, New York. The first WWE show to take place at the arena will be the Monday, November 29 episode of Raw.

AEW will be making its New Jersey and New York debuts later this month. Next week, the Wednesday, September 15 episode of Dynamite will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York will host Dynamite on Wednesday, September 22, and Dynamite will then take place at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York on Wednesday, September 29.
