AAA World Tag Team Championship match confirmed for Rey de Reyes

At AAA Rey de Reyes, Pagano and Psycho Clown will be defending their AAA World Tag Team titles.

Taped on February 7th and aired on the main event of the February 14th episode of AAA on Fox, fans saw The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) defeat Los Americanos (Rayo Americano & Bravo Americano) and Money Machine (Garra de Oro & Colmillo de Plata) for a shot at Pagano and Psycho Clown’s tag titles.

The scheduled title match is now set to take place at the upcoming Rey de Reyes event on March 14th, 2026.

Pagano and Psycho Clown have held the tag titles since August 2025.

FTR & Lucha Brothers scheduled for AAA Tag Team title rematch

FTR and The Lucha Brothers are scheduled to square off again for the AAA World Tag Team Championship. 

FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will defend the AAA titles against AEW World Tag Team Champions Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix. In a since-deleted tweet, Sam Adonis posted a promotional poster for a January 30, 2022 event with the title match listing. The match has since been confirmed by luchablog (thecubsfan) on Twitter as taking place on January 30 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico at a AAA TV taping.

The rival teams are engaged in a lengthy series of matches revolving around both the AEW and AAA World Tag Team Championships, as FTR captured the AAA Tag titles from the Lucha Bros on the October 16 episode of AEW Dynamite. FTR successfully defended the titles against Penta and Fenix at Triplemania Regia in a ladder match on December 4. Penta and Fenix have twice defended the AEW Tag belts against FTR, with a victory at Full Gear in November, then a win on the December 10 Rampage, taped December 8. 

FTR vs. Lucha Brothers title match added to AAA Triplemania Regia

FTR defending the AAA World Tag Team Championship against The Lucha Brothers was part of the full card unveiled for AAA TripleMania Regia on December 4. The lineup for the event was revealed at a press conference today. 

FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) for the AAA Tag titles on the October 16 edition of AEW Dynamite. The two teams will also face off for the Lucha Brothers’ AEW World Tag Team Championship at the Full Gear pay-per-view this Saturday. 

The mystery partner for Cain Velasquez’s AAA return match was also revealed, as LA Park will team with Rey Escorpion and Taurus against Velasquez, Psycho Clown and Pagano. 

Already announced for the event, Kenny Omega will defend the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo. 

AAA TripleMania Regia II takes place Saturday, December 4 at  Estadio de Beisbol Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico
